Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions are designed to ensure the continuing pleasure of all of our guests and the quiet community we live in. Please also bear in mind that your hosts live in the attached building. 

1.  Absolutely NO smoking, vaping or recreational drugs (inside or outside buildings). 

2.  NO pets except for certified service animals

3.  NO loud music, TV or other loud noise during quiet hours, please. Quiet hours: 10am to 8am.

4.  NO hanging of posters/pictures  

5.  NO Kayaks, canoes, bicycles, fishing gear or hunting gear to be brought inside the rental unit. A separate lockable shed can be provided for a small extra fee. Cleaning the shed is your responsibility.

6.  Laundry facilities are for PERSONAL clothing only. NO Heavily soiled or industrial clothing and uniforms, or oily/heavily soiled clothes please.

7.  Maximum 2 cars. No RVs, trailers or ATVs. Maximum two motorcycles.

8.  A television and WIFI are provided but Netflix, Prime or other subscription services are your responsibility. Please remove your account details before departure.

9.  The 4-digit security code to access the space is individual to your booking and is changed upon your departure. You are responsible for all damages incurred so please do not share this code with others.

10.  Maximum 4 guests, please.

11.  (Self) Check-in after 3:00 p.m. Checkout no later than 11:00 a.m. on your day of departure.

12.  Cancellation Policy - Short Term Stays (less than 28 nights): FLEXIBLE - Full refund if notified at least one day (24 hours) before check-in. Partial refund if within 24 hours of check-in. Please note that for 2027, we will be moving to a MODERATE cancellation policy - Full refund at least 5 days before check-in, partial refund if within 5 days of check-in.

13.  Cancellation Policy - Long Term Stays (more than 28 nights): STRICT - Full Refund if within 48 hours of booking AND at least 28 days before check-in. Otherwise, first 30 days are non-refundable. 

14.  Alarms - Smoke and CO2 alarms are active

15.  Exterior security cameras are active
